Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 25, 2011 1:28 am Hi, We are building a new home in Perth, WA soon and are having a verandah built which is part of the main roof. We want to use a recycled plastic or composite type decking and would like to know what peoples experience of these products are - in particular if they have had any problems after it has been installed for a few years and the best brands. Thanks Re: Recycled Plastic Decking 3Jul 25, 2011 12:43 pm Ooo good thread, we will be doing the same to our alfresco so I'll be watching this one with eagle eyes!!!! Recycled Plastic Decking 6Jul 25, 2011 5:35 pm Ummm I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure it was just something we had in the garage, will check with DH when he gets home. My daughter and her hubby have done their entire backyard in it too and not a crack to be seen. Our friends liked ours so much they also did multiple level decks in their yard last summer, no cracking. Fading did happen but as I said the stuff we put on it has brought it up really well. Will let you know what it was. Re: Recycled Plastic Decking 7Jul 25, 2011 8:29 pm Yeahbut nobut yeahbut nobut..... it wasn't something we had in the garage it was as noted on their website ...
