Just a quick update. As you can see by my sig things have gone downhill fast.
There is nothing we can do since we signed the contract already and to be honest it is a risk when you purchase off a block that hasn't yet been subdivided however I sent a very detailed email to my BC about the lack of transparency that exists at PD and the pathetic customer service we have received from her thus far (still waiting for a PCV nearly 3 months later after countless follow ups from our end). I asked for the email to be sent to management and that I expected a response from them. BC decided to ignore this, answered some questions regarding start dates, said I will the PCV at some stage and failed to address any of the customer service complaints I asked to be addressed.
Anyway, not much we can do without losing deposits so we are now stuck with PD waiting for another 7 months to flit away.
Have been stalking the forum but on such a downer I havent posted. Looking forward to seeing some of the blogs with the updated pics post moving in.
I do actually have a question for those that commenced building. My BC initially said that construction usually starts within 2 weeks of land settlement. Now we were advised it will be 10 weeks because it takes 6 weeks to get property information, as without that PD cannot obtain a building permit (we assume the other 4 weeks is because of xmas). How long has it taken those who have commenced or completed their build between land settlement and construction start date?
