Activity has picked up for us last week, with a lot of the paintwork completed and the stone fitted.

hi guys, rups your home is looking great, bet u just cant wait now to move in....

in regards to serenitynow heard that PD being sold is very unsettling for us that are building with PD homes. i hope u have a real good source before saying it on here cause it is a worry.

Quick update:

Heard from our BC today advising our carpet will be installed next Monday and PCI and independent inspector next Tuesday settlement on Monday 30th if everything goes well.

We couldn't believe it the time has finally arrived! Now the planning of the removalists, changing names on utilities, and everything else that is on my growing to do list. lol

My wife just pointed out a crack in teh kitchen, effectively all the way along the bulkhead across the overhead cupboards..

Its just happened in teh last few days as well.

It's the most common 3 month maintenance issue that PD fixes... That's the reason why I asked them to install a plaster bulkhead rather than a MDF bulkhead.

It's the most common 3 month maintenance issue that PD fixes... That's the reason why I asked them to install a plaster bulkhead rather than a MDF bulkhead.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it; the maintenance crew will fix it no probs.

Hey all my wife and I signed tender with pd about 2 weeks ago and have had electrical and colour. We sign contract next week. So far we have only put down 2500. We are now second guessing from comments about them being sold to an overseas company. Does anybody have any further info ?

mine is exhausting through the outside vent... check the suction power of the rangehood as well.

Have also heard this from inside source (current trades and supervisors)
The rumours that have been around since late last year seem to have been confirmed now.

Will be interesting to see how it all pans out for existing customers.

The way it works normally is that the employee’s will find out last.... acquisitions are kept as a secret for obvious reason.

Ebony when you get a email from the boss for everyone to gather in the tea room for a quick meeting as least you will know now what it’s about.. LOL

If it been sold (I have no idea if it has) it might me a good thing for the company.

Who is to say this is a bad thing for the company.
