How long x wide is your island? We went with the waterfall too.
I got a quote off superb window furnishings and they were by far cheaper & a better product, so thanks for mentioning them ?

Re: Porter Davis homes 13724Dec 02, 2016 8:45 am ![]() ![]() Hi all, Long time stalker, first time poster! Thank you for all the valuable information in this thread and forum. We are looking to KDRB in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Unfortunately PD have said they can't build on our block due to proximity to a school (waaaah!) but I'm hoping some further negotiation might help us come up with a solution. My (very basic) question is about the inclusions in the Lifestyle range. When I open the "Quality Inclusions" link at the bottom of each house plan, it comes up with this: http://www.porterdavis.com.au/~/media/p ... 0flyer.pdf However under Special Offers, the Lifestyle range seems to include a lot more upgrades but the pamphlet says they are "included in your Lifestyle home". http://www.porterdavis.com.au/~/media/s ... .pdf?la=en So is the Special Offer an upgrade package you pay for? No prices are listed. I also find it hard to believe that laminate benchtops are standard as per the list of inclusions. Could someone please enlighten me? And if you do pay for the Special Offer package, could someone give me a ballpark for a double storey home (the Somerville or Marbella)? Thanks very much! We are also KDRB in eastern suburbs. Here are some approximate costs. Two storey home base cost approx $230,000 Upgrades $50,000 Site costs $50,000 Demo $15,000 Purchased own kitchen appliances $10,000 Flooring post handover TBA (probably $15,000?) Underground electricity pit $2000 Legal point of discharge (the old house did not have one) $13,000 My suburb has heaps of PD homes going up at present! Thanks so much Ann Perkins! Very useful. May I ask what your site costs entailed? We have a very flat block which I'm hoping won't cost much to prepare for the build but I have no idea really. KDRB. Building PD's Marbella 42 - demolition completed 31 May 2018. Re: Porter Davis homes 13725Dec 02, 2016 9:40 am ![]() ![]() ![]() Hi all, Long time stalker, first time poster! Unfortunatly flat doesn't mean alot, ours was flat, no rock and not one out of the ordinary issue.. We still had to upgrade to the highest type of slab costing us $35K plus all the xtras in sit costs costing us just over $50K Re: Porter Davis homes 13726Dec 02, 2016 10:03 am ![]() ![]() ![]() How long x wide is your island? Yes the shutters are easier to quote on with dimensions. I think because we have such a range of different blinds meeting up is easier... Although at the moment its seeming very difficult. We have to have our SS give us access to the property. 1 hes impossible to get hold of and 2. we need to get this done by xmas so they are ordered and will be hopefully ready by the time handover rolls around Re: Porter Davis homes 13727Dec 02, 2016 4:59 pm Hi all... I need some help.. Is the render PD use a dulux or wattyl??? And has anyone selected a Grey of any typeand could share photos or ideas? We made the lining boards a lighter colour to contrast which is the same as the top half of the Brookwater in Bayside - Champignon ¼ strength.
