Can't do as much as we would have liked but will do for the next few years at least. All this post handover stuff sure adds up. Blind quotes on Tuesday, will do pendants and fans through Beacon and air conditioning closer to summer. I'm a neat freak, and in our last build, went over EVERY flat surface with a damp cloth, and didn't pick up dust on any surface. Every window was spotless, all paint was perfect. When w did our inspection, we had about 4 things that needed fixing. Door weather seals pecked out by crows (not the builders fault, but he saw it before us), a toilet roll holder with a screw missing (out of 5 toilets), and a couple of squeaky hinges... A sh1tty clean and p1ss poor excuses, trying you you're too picky aren't acceptable when you're spending the amount of money you guys are... I was told by someone fairly senior that the reason they stopped having essastone is they went into receivership and the "boat [with the crystal chalk] got turned back". Which is funny because Laminex/Essastone is still very much alive and bringing a new range out this month. Hmmmm. [/quote Neither was a problem at PCI ... the downlight must have been when they were doing the previously nonexistent insulation.
