I just have to add... Dropbox for the win. I use it for something else unrelated but after many trips down to the site and struggling to find attachments in my emails with poor mobile connection... I finally created a house folder with all our files and it is so much easier to find stuff these days

hence being able to grab our kitchen plans quickly.

Thanks.. looking at yours its hard to tell but do u have shadowline? It looks lile just the finger grips. I thought i remember you saying you had both. I guess its hard to tell without bench tops.

Haha thats what we thought too but both drawings are very different and if theres no gap between the bench this isn't shadowline. Not doubting u at all it just physically makes no sense....

Im going to have to disagree on this one. Sorry! Shadowline that gap that is placed under to bench/stone to where the edges meet... so in this pic if it was id say it would be to the left hand side thats not in view.. Are you referring to the gap thats above the cupboard doors?

Saying this all with due respect.
Im just seeing a totally different thing when i search shadowline and look at plans.

yes our plans look very much the same as yours, except the drawings are wrong.. whilest they show on the 3D the shadowline effect the text at the top says 40mm silestone flush on cabinets.. where im guessing it should say 40mm silestone with shadowline feature.

studying my plans and looking at our bathrooms as they all show the shadowline wording..
ill just say our plans are so inconsistant!!!

do you have handles on all your cabinets ?? of finger pulls/grips

dont worry we have.. we are dealing with a fill in who is absolutely hopeless..
... i think ive uncovered a few things by studying these plans...

do you have handles though, or fingerpulls/grips?

All bottom cabinets are handles and the top cabinets are bottom finger pulls if that makes sense

yep that makes total sense, and now makes sense with handles on base cabinets.

Honestly it's all just semantics to me, we've got what was in the display kitchen which is what we were told is shadowline so we're happy.

There are bigger things to fuss over.

(Like if we'll be able to get anything in them lol)

I was only asking for help....

Thats great that your happy! I was only trying to put together conflicting information. It seems one persons idea of shadowline is very different to anothers and we just wanted to get it right the first time, and get what we paid for.

Each to their own!

So happy when we got to the house today... Our kitchen has been put in a he all other cabinets

they have done a mistake where the black cupboard is the bottom is meant to be black not white so the battle starts tomorrow!

Where you see the black cupboard - underneath that is a white cupboard which is meant to be black
