Are anyone doing massive ethernet pre-wiring for their entire home ? I was thinking of putting a single ports to each room, but going through some of the links, its suggested to have 30+ ports to make it future-proof. Not sure i would need it, but just wanted to see what's others views:

How much PD charges for a single data port these days ?
Thanks.
I think sinbox is doing a pretty big job on pre-wiring, I'm not sure if there is such a thing as future proof but personally I'm mostly assuming that wireless will be fine for the vast majority of stuff. I do have data points to the study and anywhere that there is going to be a TV but otherwise haven't worried about it. I did ask about doing more pre-wiring when we did electrical at WoS but was told I could do a max of 4 data points, I'm not sure why given others have clearly done a lot more. I'm not sure what PD charge for each data point either sorry, ours were all integrated into an Opticom package. Good luck with it though!
This link also has a fair amount of information on pre wiring if you want to have a look.
