If you don't mind me asking, what do they call the front window style? I believe that it is all a part of the Hampton facade. PD do not let you mess what the street visible bits of their facades. So (and please bear in mind, that it's been quite a while since we went through these details), I belive that the mouldings are a standard part of the facade choice. OK, thought they may be a standard A&L or Stegbar window... I'm off there at lunch time tomorrow... Window shopping... OK, thought they may be a standard A&L or Stegbar window... I'm off there at lunch time tomorrow... Window shopping... Oh, the windows themselves are Stegbar, as are all Prestige range homes. With the solitary exception of the laundry door, all of our windows are double glazed. The front windows are no exception, except to get the effect of the smaller windows, the bits are stuck on (we were informed of this when we chose double glazing with the Hampton facade). With wooden single glazing, you get smaller individual pieces of glass, and I'm assuming that would apply to any single glazing. Whilst technically they could do the same for double glazing, they don't. Re: Porter Davis homes 11884Sep 08, 2015 8:11 am Thanks Chris... We're going to upgrade from A&L if the cost isn't too prohibitive, on recommendation of friends who are custom builders Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Porter Davis homes 11885Sep 08, 2015 6:34 pm PD must be happy and confident. We are planning to build a Waldorf grange 50 in Melbourne. The problem we are having is that we want these tiles for the whole house: http://www.beaumont-tiles.com.au/All-Pr ... AL&pspid=1 National Tiles has nothing close. Does anyone know how we can get these tiles through the PD building process. I don't want to be doing this after handover and I don't want the wet areas to have different tiles to the rest of the house. Any suggestions? Will give it a try. Has anyone built the Waldorf Grange? I'm worried about heating the living area with the void. I'm thinking of having hydronic underfloor heating for the downstairs. I have a Waldorf 48 with the void around the stairs, all the heat from downstairs goes straight up the void... With the Grange seeing as it has 2 voids it would be even worst.
