We are working through loads of issues ourselves and our only recourse is to raise it with Joanne (PD Customer Experience coordinator) and Management. Everyone has ample opportunity to fix the issues and I'd rather not escalate the issue but we have to. Sounds like you made the right decision to me! Exactly! How pathetic is it that we have to turn to social media & this forum to get a result with them? Not exactly a good customer experience! The extreme positive side to social media!! It is society these days and just the way it is Ashgrove 33, Porter Davis Contract: 09/09/15 Site start: 03/02/16 Slab: 22/02/16 Frame: 04/03/16 Lock-up: 02/05/16 Fixing: 19/05/16 Completion: Underway http://ashgrove33.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Porter Davis homes 12603May 03, 2016 11:21 am Taking bets on if/when we hear something from PD today This saga started two weeks ago tomorrow. She refused to give me the contact details of the person who was apparently taking over the case while Joanne was on leave. Sounds like it will be 2 weeks once bench selection finalised - 8-10 days for the benches to be installed, a couple of days for the plumber and one for the corker. Only concerning thing is when talking to our SS yesterday he had forgotten what we wanted done to fix the cabinetry. So clearly that isn't underway either. Details people! It's a little like they're crying out for a bad review. I mean, thanks for trying to help but communication is abysmal and that - and an appreciation for the time sensitive nature of the decision - is what would really help right now. There's nothing I hate more (& this goes for anything, not just PD) than being told I'll get a phone call by X time then never hearing anything. Doesn't take but a minute to pop us an email or leave a voicemail just to keep us updated on where they're at, even if it's simply a "we don't know yet but we're working on it". This can result in small changes to the look and specification of items used from the display home. This can be done due to availability of supply, product improvement and design improvement." I wouldn't call this a "small change to the look" of what was in the display home, would you? Honestly I don't know what we will do. $900 doesn't sound like much but extra cash is in very short supply. Yet we don't want to regret this for years to come. Last thing we needed at this stage. As we are 36 weeks into the build and we do not have a date for the PCI even though we have asked many times for it to be provided. How many weeks is the period in your building contract??? We've been in semi-regular contact with our site supervisor throughout the build, he told us back the week before Anzac Day that we were aiming for PCI first week in May. Two days later things blew up with the bench notification. He later said he was hoping for the 5th but that was all dependent on the benches & obviously that's still a couple of weeks away.
