I’m happy with the colour....but not with these tiny sections of quad at each of the pillars with metal strips in between. Any suggestions on what would make this look better. We are going to speak to our site supervisor about it. Can’t paint the quad white here...... are the corner joints of Colortech panels damaged or still some more work left ? Given how expensive they are it has been a major waste of money down the drain for PD. I did a whole blog post on the damaged colourtech. So disappointing. We were meant to be in our house already and this pic was taken today. Still damaged. PD offer a $10k package however we are looking for cat 2/3 so that is going to probably add another 10k on top. From previous comments on here I am leaning towards post handover but bit concerned about the skirting. We don’t want to have to do it later, so how do you deal with the heights? Are flooring places generally good with advising how far off the ground for the builder to follow? Is it worth doing? Re: Porter Davis homes 16079Jan 12, 2018 9:45 pm Hi Shane, we decided to do the timber flooring through PD and will do the carpets after handover hence avoiding the issue with the skirting. It will also save us close to a week of time. Re: Porter Davis homes 16080Jan 12, 2018 10:34 pm ![]() What’s everyone’s thoughts on doing flooring though PD vs post handover?
