your tone reads cheerful, hope this means things are nice within budget!
So lucky! we also went the first time during the week and didn't get pricing for the big kitchen things we wanted, just got it for things like shower rails (so useless lol). During the weekend was good to choose colors and products but very useless for pricing, they also told me I can get a color I wanted for a kitchen profile that doesn't come in that color so had to change to a different profile on our wos appointment, I am still killing myself wondering whether we chose the right profile because I wanted to keep the color.
Well yes I did feel positive as I was really struggling with tiles as we had no ideas of the costs of upgrading them and I got some prices on the tiles today and the bathroom things like sinks, taps and toilets.
In saying that, we still have no costs for the kitchen we want other than an idea of prices I've gotten from other people on this wonderful site!
I was the colonial colourtech kitchen cabinetry like in the display at WoS, so I'm hoping the pricing won't be to much of a knock as I really want it. I'm just very hopeful that they can give me accurate pricing on the day of our actual appointment.
Anything I have asked my BC for so far has been met with "you'all find out at tender". I was just asking some questions about the electrical pit that WE have to organise so I can get the application right. I want to get it sent asap as it takes a while and I want to know what it's going to cost us. I'm trying to avoid any delays.
I upgraded to the same colonial that is on display, with same finish. I have the extended kitchen on the Montague 21 so not small but not big at all kitchen, that upgrade cost us 5k. Some other things to consider for the kitchen is more drawers and a special bin drawer- You can add smaller ones to the cabinet below the sink after handover but the one pd offers is reasonably priced and is nice and big. A bit more on the budget but I think will be worth it in the long run.
