And has anyone selected a Grey of any typeand could share photos or ideas? In our favor and right before our render on monday they have lost of colour selection.. we actually regretted this decision and were told it was too late to change so we are able to reselect.and advise Monday! Any responses would be helpful I'm pretty sure they use dulux for exteriors and wattyl for interior walls. Can try calling World of Style to confirm? Good idea! Because our bc and ss aren't answering and bc told us to refer to a watyyl chart which im positive is wrong /quote] Yeh I wouldn't trust BC and def not SS for anything to do with colour selections- anything world of style related. They seem to operate separately. I had to call WoS to clarify a few things after contract and they're really helpful hope you find your ideal colour! Don't forget the colour on render looks a little different to paper or screen samples. If u have the time, a trip to Port Melbourne might help so you can see their colour samples on render. Any responses would be helpful I liked the colours on a display home at Wantirna South. I was informed by WOS that the exterior render was a Wattyl colour. Went to a Wattyl trade centre to get colour samples and they had great trouble finding the colour. They eventually discovered it was a really old colour by Pascol, which is their budget line. Weird thing is it was exactly the same shade as a Colorbond color. I found colour selections so hard, I ended up copying the display home. Re: Porter Davis homes 13733Dec 02, 2016 9:24 pm aplaceforeverything Thanks so much Ann Perkins! Very useful. May I ask what your site costs entailed? We have a very flat block which I'm hoping won't cost much to prepare for the build but I have no idea really. Site costs included excavation (cut and fill), cartage of soil, retaining walls, slab upgrades (due to demo of old house), services, local govt and OHS, temp fencing, land survey, drains and silt pit, stormwater bedding. Quite a lot in fact. Our original quote was higher than the eventual cost. Our SC was very good at providing accurate quotes. We are trying to replicate that look for our home. Render I believe is Shale Grey which is also a colour pond colour. Any responses would be helpful We chose Timeless Grey render. We are going for a grey and white theme. We made the lining boards a lighter colour to contrast which is the same as the top half of the Brookwater in Bayside - Champignon ¼ strength. We found the shale grey had a slight greenish undertone and we wanted to avoid that. Re: Porter Davis homes 13737Dec 03, 2016 4:11 pm Waldorf_Grange_Build lizbf85 Hi all... I need some help.. Funny you should say that about Shale Grey. We have chosen this colour for both our render and cladding as this is the colour on the Brookwater display in Watirna and it seems nice. We wanted our grey to have a more blue undertone than green. You can see the RGB breakdown for each colour online.
