I went thorough it with a fine tooth comb today as you have 48 hours to notify them of any changes. After that they need to be done through the BC and it's more difficult.
My WOS extras came to 48k fully tricked out. However in my quote I had allowances in for the kitchen and already had some display home stuff quoted. The electrical and all Argus stuff combined came to about 20k.... I have removed/will remove almost all of the electrical as they are horribly expensive at $126 a down light for example.
I was a sparky for 2 years and could do it myself but 2 of my best mates are sparkys and they will do all labour for nothing. I'll help my mates by climbing through the roof and doing the hard work so everything is still technically above board and certified as I didn't finish my apprenticeship and get my A grade.
So after I took my allowances off and the costs already accounted for we came in under 2k below our quote.
The electrical/home automation/alarm will cost me 6k in parts afterwards.
I've also removed the 9k outdoor style package as 2 of my other best mates one is a bricky and the other a concreter so I get the driveway, letterbox and feature wall at the back done by them.
Just need a fencer but I needed that anyway as all they were going to do is cut me a cheque for $1000 and make me do it myself anyway.
Sounds like you got it sorted... just don'tbe surprised if things do pop up especially if ur only at wos appointment. The WOS alone isnt set and certainly change by tender. Hopefully for you sake it doesn't change to much
They charged me $5000 for colorbond at WOS. I told them it's definitely included in my package, it's required with my estate covenants and my sales guy said it every time we spoke but I couldn't find it itemised. Walked through a display home the next day and there was a sign advertising free colorbond with every PD home valid from Feb 2016...
I suppose I just have to be super vigilant when contract time comes around and know what I'm paying for.
I got free colourbond. I had to sign a document when I paid my $2000 deposit with my initial sales consultant. After that it was never charged to me at WOS or after.
