The 153 days that they advise in the start build letter is construction days which doesn't include weekends or public holidays which takes us to an end date of the 12th of September ... such a big difference. but she advised our best bet is our SS which he has advised end of July/Early August ... so fingers crossed it is end of July so my husband has time to do the electrical and we can do our heating cooling concrete and fence and then while we are away the tiling can happen. oh god after a relaxing hoilday looks like ill be going through the stress of moving in.. was hoping it would be the other way around haha That's also assuming everything goes to plan. We were 8 months behind the contract date by the time we got to handover. Our SS said to estimate 2 weeks but will depend on what they have to fix I guess. Everything's coming together though, my boss has offered us a free stay for two weeks past our box hill settlement (which should be more than enough) to bridge the gap there in return for staying over & doing night manager for a week in Nov so we're very grateful for that. Booked movers in for the 2nd to take stuff down to our storage unit, at least now all the stuff to go into the new house will be in one place. Exciting!! I actually work for a corporate moving company and I get a free move which is good ) Ashgrove 33, Porter Davis Contract: 09/09/15 Site start: 03/02/16 Slab: 22/02/16 Frame: 04/03/16 Lock-up: 02/05/16 Fixing: 19/05/16 Completion: Underway http://ashgrove33.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Porter Davis homes 12791May 24, 2016 9:19 pm Ashgrove33 thewoodies Yes good spotting, drawers a big improvement too.
