Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 17, 2011 4:20 pm Hi Guys, We're looking at building on a 269sqm battleaxe block in Westminster. So far the plans we have seen from a few of the builders havent really interested us so i thought i would see what everyone else has done. So feel free to post up your plans. Cheers, Brendan Re: Post up your Battleaxe house plans? 2Jul 17, 2011 4:57 pm We are on a battleaxe however our land is 3400sqm (was originally 3800 but we have sliced off the front section for the in-laws) so we were lucky enough to be able to fit pretty much any house design on the block. That's a pretty compact block you have - are you going two storey? Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Post up your Battleaxe house plans? 3Jul 18, 2011 12:04 am Hi Brendan, I've attached a link to my build thread. The plans are on the first page. We are building double storey on on rear block in Yokine. Our block is just over 20m wide and about 17 deep, so a total of around 346m2. Are you guys building double storey? viewtopic.php?f=38&t=37937 Accessible Carpentry & Cabinets accessiblecarpentry@gmail.com accessiblecarpentry.com.au https://www.facebook.com/pages/Accessible-Carpentry-Cabinets/583314911709039 Re: Post up your Battleaxe house plans? 4Jul 18, 2011 2:48 am Hey Bren, we are building on a battleaxe in middle swan, plans are in my thread in my signature!! I highly recommend redink, they don't shy away from difficult builds and have been great with us even tho I designed ours. Post a picky up of your block and a list of what u need included and I'll give it a bash for u if u like Building our own custom design with Redink Pre-start - 28/06/2011 Building license approval - sept 2011 Footings - 8/10/2011 my thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48921 Thanks for the insight! My plot is a new development so hopefully I won't have too much problem during build as everyone should be roughly building together. I also… 2 2479 If there have been changes, variations, during construction then the drawings should be revised, the building permit amended and the current, as built drawings given to… 2 2731 Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms?
