I replied asking if they were 'established' but received no reply. I've been waiting 6 weeks so I went and spoke to he guy at the land sales office because I was driving past. He assured me that they are not yet established in stage 15. The way I read the email was that it was sent to all stages not just us. Contract terms state established within three months same as front yard. Slab finished 28/08/2012 Re: Somerfield Keysborough Stage 15ers 432Dec 17, 2012 12:04 pm We received this email from DAP - is anyone in the same situation. Section 2.6 of the Design Guidelines states the following in regards to garage doors: Requirement 2 – Door materials must be horizontal timber boarding, grooved ply or metal cladding equal to timber boarding. Coffered or rectangular relief patterns will not be approved. Refer Section 5.8 Sample Door Profiles. The majority of houses have a horizontal panel garage door. There are some houses in the estate which have wrongly installed a coffered rectangular door like the one which has been installed at your property. The DAP is working with these owners to change these doors as they also in breach of the Design Guidelines. Re: Somerfield Keysborough Stage 15ers 433Dec 19, 2012 3:52 pm Somerfield DAP, "an external recycled water tap be installed at both the front and back of any house built". I can live with that. My builder tells me the tap must be in the centre of the wqall at the back because it must be in line with the entry point at the front of the property. I don't believe it. Did anyone move their recycled water tap at the rear of their house? Re: Somerfield Keysborough Stage 15ers 434Dec 19, 2012 4:45 pm MiKu Did anyone move their recycled water tap at the rear of their house? Yes we moved both taps before signing the final drawings so we could put the BBQ there instead. But they have installed them very high above waist height. Make sure u specify normal height. This will mean less traffic on Church Rd. Sometimes at night, cars just fly by and high speeds, so we'll be getting a quieter night sleep now Merry Christmas everyone and have a safe and happy New Year!!!!!!!!!! Mike and Jen Re: Somerfield Keysborough Stage 15ers 438Dec 25, 2012 3:25 pm Our house is under construction, and we have received a $400 bill for water usage, is this normal? Who need to pay the bill, us or our builder because we are not living and using the water there yet? Have a safe xmas everyone. Check the contract from your builder it should outline who pays for water and electricity. Our builder paid for usage and we paid sewerage and annual fees. Water bill is payable by you unfortunately. We got and paid same one, basically the moment the land is transferred over to you and the sewerage and drains are hooked up, you pay. Thats why so many people got angry about delays in building as they were getting smashed council rates and water and staring at a pile of mud. With the $1500 cheque we got from developer we printed of a bill, and took it to the post office, they accepted it and we are now in credit for about $1000. Good luck Not unless you have managed to put it as a special condition into the contract somehow. 1 6157 The fastest thing a builder will do is bank your cheque, those systems work perfectly with lightning speed, everything else is slow burn. Just the way it is. 1 8711 1 4698 |
