Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 11, 2011 1:35 pm G'day all, We are building with one of the project homes builders in Sydney. The process have just reached the brick selection phase. The options given to us are: Austral, Bowral and PGH. Overall we've liked the offerings from PGH. But just wanted to check prior if there anyone has a view on why any one of these brands should be preferred over the other? Or if any of the brands should be avoided? Many thanks in advance. For what was in our ranges of these, PGH had the best selection (colour, exposure grade, and look of brick) to choose from for what we were looking for. To be honest in Austral and Boral selection there wasn't much we liked in our selection. I will say that the Boral sales ladies were excellent. Our roof tiles were from there and even though we had PGH bricks, they were more than accomodating to help us with a good colour match as well as colour suggestions for guttering etc Hi Kaiser85, We are building with Firstyle Homes.
