I agree with winter being the best time to pour a slab (1) Moisture in the air is higher , therefore less evaporation from the concrete mix (2) Lower slump factor cement is used - in summer a highler slump factor mix (containing more water) is required (3) Concrete cures slowly due to the curing heat being removed by teh lower ambient temperatures in winter yeah it does make sense Thanks for your advice. So far i have not noticed any issues with doors and windows.
