Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 10, 2011 12:10 am So, finally got keys and have moved in. Will Post up in separate thread when this little problem is sorted. So, I went into a Telstra shop today to get my home phone and internet package installed. Had picked the bundle I wanted and when they looked for my address it still only came with the lot number. Not to worry I thought until the screen said no Internet available!! When I enquired further, the snotty little nerd insisted there was no way to connect me up (computer says no indeed). I am obviously going to call their support and service lines until I get an answer I want, but want to know if anyone else in Harrisdale or surrounding areas had this drama and how to fix it? Tried my neighbours address and got the same error except I know she has adsl2 with them! Help! Cheers Rob Re: New build in Harrisdale: can't get Internet? 2Jul 10, 2011 7:41 am A lot of new estates aren't building the infastructure to get adsl etc. We live in a new estate and can't get it and the area we are building in doesn't have it either. We have to have wireless with telstra (can't get reception from anyone else) and we have 12g for $90 per month. We go through that in 2-3 weeks. It is so frustrating but telstra doesn't give a ****. 9 24782 Hey everyone Not for me or anyone I know, just generally interested.
