Thanks in advance Re: Independant Building Inspectors - how did you source? 2Jul 05, 2011 2:46 pm I saw someone's thread on H1 and made contact with them but for some reason they were not available and directed me to make inquiries with the Association of Building Consultants membership. The Association web site can be found by searching the internet. In early June I contacted another company by email, they phoned me, asked how big the house is (216 sq m) told me it would cost $350 plus GST and they would email me details - haven't heard a thing since! Not a good start for me but I think if you find someone and they are a member of the above assoc you should expect a good job. Hope that helps.
