Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 04, 2011 6:07 pm Hi Everyone, Can anyone help me we need to peg out where our proposed dwelling will be built and we haven't a clue what to do? is it simple as measure out the size of the home from the drawings and just peg out the corners or is it harder than that? we have been told just to do a basic peg out so they know where to do the soil testing? please help any info would be appreciated. Re: SURVEY PEGS FOR SOIL TESTING? 2Jul 04, 2011 6:18 pm Just peg out the corners. Typically they need to do three test holes on the approx area of the house absolute accuracy is not required so an error of 200-300mm will not be a problem The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get !
