All the energy flows out or something, is there anyway I can get around this (without changing the plan), I'd like to keep the good energy inside:) Unlucky I didn't pick this up earlier. Do you think it will strange looking straight from the front door to the backyard? umm ***Building coral HERON (modified) in the beautiful NSW far north coast*** H1 Thread - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48902 Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 23Jun 27, 2011 9:32 pm smylee Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on the front door to back sliding door......isn't it bad feng shui for the front door to look straight back on to the back door???? Do you think it will strange looking straight from the front door to the backyard? umm You can get around this issue by getting a voodoo doll and putting a pin in its head and its feet, then take it to a palm reader for them to do a reading on the doll. If the dolls immeadiate future looks positive, you make some tea 18 night later and read the leaves. If the dolls future is negative, you wait for the next full moon and do a midnight rain dance. If the leaves are scattered the energy will stay in the house without any worries. If they are grouped, the energy will stay in the house just fine. In the rain dance case, if it rains, the energy will stay in the house just fine. If it doesn't rain, the energy will stay in the house just fine. Happy days! Gives it that wow factor. I believe that luck comes from your energy, so if you love the house the house will have a good vibe and therefore good luck. Absolutely love your plan - especially the kitchen area - it will be huge! We liked the heron plan too but fell in love with the hamilton. Your colour selections are gorgeous - cant wait to see your build! http://forum.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48685 Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 28Jun 29, 2011 6:26 pm Tamara1975 Here is an old thread from someone who also built the heron. They stopped posting before handover and started with the Hamilton plan, but they have a pic of their floor plan etc. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=19183 Hi Figured that because my thread got a mention here I could give a quick update! We love our Heron, no probs with energy flow thru back - laundry door is still what we consider as our back door anyway so?? Biggest concern we have (and having BSA inspection tomorrow to hopefully remedy) is the crap ceiling joins that are soooo noticeable when the lights go on! Apparently Coral builds to a standard which doesnt allow for normal oyster lights to be used - imagine that! The most readily available 'standard' type of light fitting is the reasonwe can see every join line & nail when the lights are on! Anyway apart from that they have been ok - kitchen wasnt able to be fixed so we are stuck with smaller entry into kitchen & different sized cupboards under stove but apart from that......the sliding door into the garage warps when its hot - apparently thats becuase they didnt paint the top, they cut it down to fit & now it will swell with humidity but apart from that ....well you get the idea - stay on them & dont put up with anything you are not happy with. Cheers Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 29Jul 01, 2011 7:04 pm Didn't get to meet the SS on site yesterday but it rescheduled for monday, signed and faxed off last of the variations and we are good to go..... . Should have our start date early next week. ***Building coral HERON (modified) in the beautiful NSW far north coast*** H1 Thread - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48902 Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 30Jul 01, 2011 7:09 pm debba-m Hi, Just wanted to welcome another Coral builder! Cheers WOW they don't build to standard for oyster lights is there anything they can do to fix this for you? Along with the other things???? How did your BSA inspection go?? anything get resolved?? umm I have seen many mixed reviews about people who have built with coral from there building standards to customer service. We all want the best for our homes but sometimes seems they don't care, they build so many.....but thats no excuse. ***Building coral HERON (modified) in the beautiful NSW far north coast*** H1 Thread - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48902 Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 32Jul 06, 2011 1:35 pm Umm no updates and no start date, my CSC is away and forgot to mention because of Heltech closure that the slabs have to looked over again and sent to private certfier. I was aware that this was case for some of you, but as it wasn't mentioned to me I thought maybe just maybe they had forgotten mine.......???? I understood that everything should be done and ready for a start date by end of last week. So they can't give a time frame on that so I guess just keep waiting . Impatient I know, but I'm sure most of you know the feeling. ***Building coral HERON (modified) in the beautiful NSW far north coast*** H1 Thread - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48902 Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 33Jul 06, 2011 1:38 pm I didn't know my slab was being reviewed either until I got the call about the extra $$ for going overtime. Thanks hope to hear something soon, do you reckon the more I annoy them the quicker it will get done??? ***Building coral HERON (modified) in the beautiful NSW far north coast*** H1 Thread - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48902 Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 35Jul 06, 2011 2:55 pm It was four weeks from when I got the final approval from the private certifier (with old slab plans) until I got the call about being past contract date. I still haven't got a copy of the approved revised slab plans, so not sure if they've come back from the certifier or not. I certainly hope you don't have to wait that long! ETA: Until that point no one at Coral had mentioned that Heltech had gone out of business, so if I hadn't read it on here I would have been even more confused. ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 36Jul 06, 2011 2:58 pm So have Heltech closed up or something ? I am just about to sign a contract for a Coral Homes and haven't been told that. I have been quoted screw piers in my tender. Yep, they closed their doors abotu 2 months ago - right before we were due to start. They got another company to do our screw piers. There shouldn't be any issues or hold ups for you. If anything you would just sign a variation I would say. What plan are you building? Do you have a thread?? Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 38Jul 06, 2011 3:13 pm A1-houseplans So have Heltech closed up or something ? I am just about to sign a contract for a Coral Homes and haven't been told that. I have been quoted screw piers in my tender. As far as I know they designed my slab and screw piers, as they worked with coral I thought it would be easy to have then design my retaining wall.....couple of emails and phone calls later I forwarded them the money to do so, no return of emails and no phone calls and the front desk was ringing out, after a couple of weeks i was talking to my CSC and she said "oh heltech they have shut there doors were not sure what happened we now have had to get a new supplier......not much help. I was not informed about the slab being redesigned and the resubmitting to private certifier to start with. If they change it you may have to sign a variation not sure if there is cost involved I'm still waiting find out myself. Maybe if you haven't signed the contract yet then are may already be under the new company and not heltech as they changed suppliers over a couple of months ago. Might be worth calling your CSC to get more info......if they want to share it that is. ***Building coral HERON (modified) in the beautiful NSW far north coast*** H1 Thread - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48902 Re: Building heron with CORAL HOMES on NSW far north coast.. 39Jul 06, 2011 3:19 pm I am going to build a modified heron.
