Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Upgrade options with Eden Brae 7Jun 30, 2011 8:41 pm walton Hi I'm fairly new to this site but looking for some help. We're building the Hawthorne 29 Corner version with Eden Brae and are booked in for our colour selections etc Tuesday 28th. We are looking to add overhead kitchen cupboards, glass splashback, semi-frameless shower screens & drawers / cupboards to the vanities. Can anyone out there building with EBH that has included these upgrades give me an approx cost? Thanks! Hi, we were quoted $2500 for two overhead cupboards with shelves on either side of the range hood. Saying that they were aluminum trim with glass doors and they were also the lift up type so chances are that they'd be cheaper for 'standard' cupboards. We received an outside quote from a local kitchen company and was given a price less then half of what we were given at the Home Options Gallery. I've just received prices today for different options/upgrades we chose like off white mortar, flyscreens, 3 coat paint and other things. If you want an idea pm me and I'll pass them on Building Hawthorne 27 with Eden Brae McKeachies Run - Aberglasslyn Slab 4/10/11 Re: Upgrade options with Eden Brae 8Dec 18, 2019 5:07 pm Hi, We had our appointments yesterday and have received some really high quotes. For wardrobe upgrade from Eden Brae standard its around $10k for 3 rooms. Do you guys think its better to get Kitchen fixtures, wardrobe and blinds through external suppliers? Thanks I built with EB back on 2009.
