Hi Paula, yes that one is from their shop. That has designer guild fabric on it at $400 plus a metre fabric. I chose the $75 a metre and it is just as beautiful.

Kitchen...yes, maybe a green splasback, I will see what the kitchen guy has come up with.

Absolutelydivine, Mrs B - I just love that bulkhead - stunning! As for the green splashback - Shhhhh!!! Don't tell my DH, that's what HE wanted!!!! :lol:

I think that would look very striking.

Have you seen the green splashback in the Urbayne house (can't remember the name of the house! :roll:

) at the Caroline Springs display? Looks great!

We are the same stage now... we also have the window splashback.. but we didn't put it in the middle, as we want to still have glass splashback near the oven and the window will be sitting above the benchtop.

You'll be having lime green in your kitchen.. ours will be olive green

Looking forward to more progress/photos...

I must say, with a place of the calibre that you are building, there is probably no better place to shop for your lounge than at Jimmy Possum.

I love their stuff.

Make sure you show us all a snippet of the fabric that you choose.

Actually, there are down lights in a row going down the bulk head. Thankfully the electrician drew a line so they were all straight...very relieved because if one was crooked I would always focus on that one light.

I have alot more photos to show but not just yet, still waiting on a few more things to be done with the house.
It has been a very long process from architect to builder but definately well worth it. I just hope we are in the next few months.

Hi VJ,

I am putting family photos in flat white frames in the niches. All frames will be the same to give it the same look. As for the lime green splashback, I have to think very carefully about this ...will post the sketches of my kit and laundry hopefully tonight to ask for peoples opinions about colours and design elements.

I think you'd need the ones in aircraft along the floor, I think you'd be facing downwards, not upwards..... :lol:

Anyway....I Love my bulkhead... yummy! and yes we also have a row of lights near the floor upstairs in our passage way. I think we may have gone a bit overboard with mood lights but what the heck

Weekly update...floors have been laid downstairs, looks really nice. They will not be polished untill we are just about to move in.

The floors are blackbutt. I am very glad I made this decision because it is a really large area and I wanted a floor that was fairly consistent in colour. The floor company we went through are fantastic and get the job done without fuss.
