I know the pictures arent the most inspiring to look at but I have waited so long for this plaster I just couldnt help myself...I took 28 pictures this afternoon of plaster. They had a team of about 6 plasterers working from about 7am till 5pm. The thing is I dont want it to stop, I want the plastering completed. We are having the square set edges so I know this has to be done very carefully. Notice the big white boxes in the main room, that is the plaster for the bulk head, I wondered how they were going to do that.

Your house looks fantastic - I love the view, the colours and the design. Are you having 2340 doors or 2040? Our architect designed our doors 2340 but for some reason we have ended up with 2040 doors with the builder (we have 2700 ceiling). I don't know if we should try and change them - we are nearly at lock-up. Ebby braveheart Re: Our House 333Aug 07, 2008 1:58 pm Mrs B,
Thats so fabulous that the plasters have worked so quickly and so well! Your view is AMAZING!! My parents brought in a Sydney riverside suburb nearly 40years ago, and they avoided buying on the waterfront as back then there was a 'bit' of a smell happening. Would you believe that land on the river can fetch up to $4million+ now... However, they still brought in the suburb but on a hill with views... Just not the same. I'm sure you will never tire of waking to that lovely sight every day... Looking forward to seeing the progress continue quickly for you. Re: Our House 334Aug 07, 2008 3:05 pm Wow Mrs B, plastering was really quick!
Now it's all taking shape... You can see how big each rooms are. We're just a big ahead of you... but you might catch up, who knows! I agree, you've got really nice views there. I hope you all invite us to visit you there during your house warming ![]() we promise to behave... ![]() ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Built the Nevada 42 Next project - landscaping! If your architect designed your house that way then your builder should have those heights in the contract. What does your contract say? Mrs B Re: Our House 336Aug 08, 2008 11:40 pm ![]() Me Too??? Plasterers have been working none stop. It is starting to look like a real house now. The bulkhead has been plastered and it is probably going to be one of my most favourite features. This picture shows the front entrance and I also like the niches, wasnt sure when I saw them on the plans but once I have seen it I love it and already know what I am going to put in them. Mrs B Re: Our House 339Aug 10, 2008 12:05 am Thought I would tell you about my latest shopping expedition ![]() I mentioned before that I went to Jimmy possums a few weeks ago and got a quote for a custom made 3 seater couch and long ottoman. I am going to order it in a few weeks so we will probably get it just before christmas. The picture below is the type of furniture I have selected but different fabrics. I'm going to go back again next week to take a picture of the fabrics. This is going to be for the upstairs lounge. I know what you mean about not being sure about things like this in the design...we have a few things that the designer has put in that I'm just not sure about, but hopefully they will look as good as your place is looking.
