Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Should we fix our site costs? 21Jan 19, 2008 9:07 pm Fair enough, our builder's contract says 260 days, but we've been told it's 4-5 months for single storeys...
But we couldn't get past the contract stage without handing over proof of ownership (copy of the land title)... If they can do this, and i suppose fixing the site costs helps with their requirements too, but i thought they needed proof of ownership before proceeding for permits etc??? Obviously different builders operate differently when it comes to this sort of thing??? Although the lock isnt titled, the contract is all signed and binding. I suppose there could be a problem down the line when it comes to title? It's a fair bet on Burbanks side that there will be no problem though, as it's on an established estate. I'll tell you all about it tomorrow. Burbank sales rep knows that we're not titled until September, and it didnt seem to bother her at all. We shall see. I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 2309 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 1065 Depending on the type of fascia used you could get some flashing bent up. 1 1833 |
