Who's building with Clarendon??

With the lease I would contact the leasing agent and try to be on a month to month? I haven’t had this experience. We had 2 weeks to spare lol. Pretty close

Good to hear you're getting the refund. How much extra did they charge if you don't mind me asking?

Definitely check, you have every right to know what you're getting. You are the one paying for it. I asked a thousand questions and our build didn't even start yet, haha..

They charged around $8,000 extra for screw piers
After signing the tender with Clarendon in Feb 2017, we have now been handed over to construction!! (delays were cos of our land registration so Clarendon's delays suited us fine).

Just wondering how long did it take from the time when you were told you were going off to construction to when your slab was poured? I'm not sure when "Day 1" is supposed to start heh. I'll hopefully be updating my blog more frequently now that we are in the build process!

That's similar to ours! I think we started around the same time.

We are building in Leppington and just had our bathrooms tiled and grouted. Cabinets installed but no garage door. This week they just finished a coat of paint.
wingzee can i see some more pics? and how long has your build taken to date?
Nice! Wingzee - do you remember how much your pull-out spice rack cost? Would love to add it in...

You must have chosen rectified tiles, they're expensive. We just chose cheapest 600x600

The rest does seem expensive but I had external quotes that we gave to our lender. Looking at these, we got more stuff than we would've got if done after handover so just decided to do it with them and have everything ready when we move in.
