So we just did it with them then all my guy had to do was plug and play. And plus they ran everything to the one plate in the study room. How many camera's in total? I thought $800 was a bit much. We didn't receive the plans as to where the prewiring position would be or camera positions etc. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 14445May 03, 2016 4:24 pm Quickest brick question - our bricks are nearly done but I noticed 2 things: 1. It does say aluminium cover board over the home theatre but not sure if that has anything to do with it? The back stacker doors look same height on the plans. I would definitely ask about stacker doors. It looks like one has been bricked at the wrong height. This is what they are paid to do and they need to answer our questions. I would be questioning the heights of your stacker doors especially if they are leading onto the same alfresco area. Also check your plans - your elevation drawings..it should show the heights there. Would bring it up now rather than later. We had an issue with our bricks above one of our sliding doors (noticed at bricking stage) that Clarendon are fixing now as we were not happy with the look (change in pattern above one door) I'll post a pic when I find it. They are redoing the brickwork above the right door to match the left door. Aargh why do they do these things!? Haha almost like they think we won't notice! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=82062 Madison 37 - site start 16.2.16 Who's building with Clarendon?? 14456May 03, 2016 8:34 pm Hi all, Did colours today and I am torn between timber flooring for ground floor vs 600x600 tiles. Timber flooring was about $8300 to do. Not sure on tiles yet. Did you guys upgrade aircond? The included temperzone in the promo gives 2 zones. The air Cond guy at colours mentioned you. Can't have all ducts running ie downstairs and upstairs at the same time due to the power of the unit. Is this true? So he recommended upgrading the zones to maybe 4 zones. Cheers, K. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 14457May 03, 2016 10:20 pm k3nnis Mrrrrt, are your ground floor ceilings 2600mm? Are your bathroom tiles standard size? Hi k3nnis, yes correct ground floor height is 2600mm. For the bathroom tiles, all are standard sizes that was part of the package with Clarendon. We picked a different feature wall tile for the showers - cost us an additional 3k+. Ensuite is as part of package, all other bathrooms were standard tiling height. Hi k3nnis, we replaced all our carpets (ground floor and top floor) except for theatre, with laminate flooring... we ended up adding about 3k (we provisioned carpets and tiling for the house in our tender). Would really depend on your preference. As for the aircon, we upgraded to the inverter model as temperzone was not inverter and upgraded to 4 zones but still was day & night - which means we can only operate 2 zones at time. This worked for us. There were other options presented with 10 zones, but we were not willing to spend more on aircon.
