(timber grain look) Heidimikew did that and I think she said it was $450 for the cabinetry in the whole house. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 8585Jun 18, 2015 9:19 pm mrrrrt Has anyone considered EzyClip fencing in North Kellyville? Any feedback would be much appreciated. Yeah, we got it in The Ponds. Its the most popular type there. But be careful, there is EzyClip and then there are clones. Even with EzyClip, you can have it installed by the manufacturer themselves, or you can call a few other companies who buy from EzyClip and do installations. @DG85 ... Its coming up nice !! Must be so relieved to see those bricks up there ! @rmjose18 Might have missed your post, but how was walkthrough ? When's your handover. Best piece of advice I can offer you right now. If you are not in a rush to move into your place, let Clarendon finish everything on the list and then give them the money. It will be quicker that way. Also, you will have to make arrangements so someone is home when Clarendon's tradies come back. @cherly_2015 In the pic you posted of your shaving cabinet and vanity... is the kickboard also starting at the wall ? This would mean that the kickboard is not centred under the vanity. Heads up in case .... Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 8586Jun 18, 2015 9:28 pm elisen Site Supervisor question.... Does anyone building / did anyone who has built in Sydney have a site supervisor with the initials W.M? Just got a call from our SS today, he seems pretty nice and organised, but I guess time will tell... If anyone had him, how did you find him? Guy called Warren looks after slab pour only ... After that your allocated SS takes over ...Don't know Warren's last name so not sure if thats who you are talking about ! The guy who will be looking after our slab pour is Wayne. All these W's! I drove past our place, and they have done some more cutting today from up the back, and the porta loo has been delivered! Never been so excited over a damn porta loo! haha!! I'm sure you have mentioned this before, but where abouts are you building? You're not in Eastwood by any chance are you? Also, what is your brick? We have just been booked for our electrical appointment - I just did a quick calc and we are tracking for about 7k for power points, downlight, fan install, etc. This doesn't 't include light fittings... I might be a bit over on power points, but I wasn't expecting that much! Is anyone else willing to share what they spent on electrical? Any hints on how to keep it down? So the extra $3.5k wasn't so bad. We could have done sooooo much more! This included pool electrical for after handover too! No tips on how to keep it down sorry, I'd be happy with $7k lol Building the Clarendon Merriden 30 (44 after Mods) @ Harrington Grove! Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 8593Jun 18, 2015 11:27 pm Oh you can just get light points out in instead of down lights in the spots where you'd have down lights for only $58 per extra light point then you can save dollars converting them to down lights later. Unless ofcourse you have a two storey you have to get the bottom storey done during the build as they can't be done later.. Building the Clarendon Merriden 30 (44 after Mods) @ Harrington Grove! We spent just shy of $13K on our electrical. That was on extra power points, a LOT of downlights downstairs, wiring for ceiling fans, and junctions for outdoor light points. We tried to cut down on something's to save $$$ and then a month later added them back in. I still wish I got outside lighting on front of the house but they quoted an extra $500. At the time it seemed like heaps. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 8600Jun 19, 2015 6:46 am Ok, thanks for the heads up. We put in an extra $5k allowance and the sales guy said that was heaps when I asked maybe it should be 10. That doesn't include led down lights supply, just the install. We have a few downlights and are two story so no way of scrimping down there! Looks like I'm blowing the budget again... That estimate didn't have a hub in it!
