Haven't signed anything yet though. We chose them as they have the floor plan that includes everything we want, Killara 28. Their online reviews are much better than most of the builders and their customers service has been good at any display centre we visited so far (pretty much all of NSW). This thread has 17k posts and it will be hard to read all. I've skimmed though and overall feedback seems to be positive. Just a quick question who is or has built with Clarendon, would choose them again to build your next house? Would love to share the store if we actually go ahead with them. Have a great afternoon. Clarendon is just another project builder and they are the the builder. They choose the builder that they think is good for them and its the same to other project builder. Its best to find the design that you need. I choose Clarendon because they are the only one that have the design I need. And yes, they are expensive. Had one once the kitchen cabinetry was installed and highlighted incorrect features which is good because stone top hasn't been installed yet so a hell of a lot easier to fix now... Will also be going through once wet area tiling is done and then again once flooring is completed after the painting is finished... At the end of the day they're employed and being paid by me so I figure I should be able to walk through whenever I want... We've identified numerous issues that have needed rectification through unofficial walk throughs... Goodluck! Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 17566Aug 05, 2017 11:15 pm Just returned from our month-long vacation & took some time to visit the site today. Frames is up & brick-layering has started! Pretty excited vs the last time we visited when there's only a slab. We are officially 2 months into our construction & looks like it's progressing well. Wondering how long more we are looking at until handover? Is 6 months reasonable? Also, we'll get Houspect to inspect from the frames stage onwards until PCI with waterproofing included. I have my colour appointment in this week where i would like to decided on my Air con too. I heard from people saying the day/night option is not much efficient. So thought of getting ideas in this forum. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 17576Aug 11, 2017 12:19 pm Thanks Mrs RS and wentworth33 for you input and I agree each build experience is different. I deposited initial $1000 last weekend. Regarding AC, Clarendon provides Temperzone which constantly makes 'loud clicking noise'. I'm interested in upgrading. Do they offer Daikin as well or just Fujitsu? Spooky8080 it costed you $2950 with 6 zones and wentworth33 it costed you $5600 for 6 zones? Do you guys have the model numbers or kW Capacity? Just interested to find out the price difference between models. He will start of with a high figure and if you show hesitation he will (pretend??) to make a phone call to some guy and then get off the phone and tell you you are lucky, they have last one in stock which he can do at a special price.
