Ask for the three coat paint system $1500 upgrade, otherwise you will be given tinted undercoat one coat and one coat of top coat! Many on this forum have regretted not getting that! Don't forget about your included upgrades. Good luck. We split ours into 2 days (accidentally) we so needed it! Kitchen took the longest for sure! I am waiting for the SS to confirm this tomorrow or Friday so will let you know. Have you also got the alfresco option on your home? I was wondering if they painted the timber beams the same colour? If you get a chance would you post pictures of your pergola area please. Thanks, Catherine Thanks for that Catherine. Will wait for your reply. I also sent an email today but haven't heard back yet. Re: photos - unfortunately I didn't take any new pics as we were in a rush and were only on site to select the glass splashback color. I will be sure to take some pics this weekend & put them up. Here's a pic of alfresco from a week ago & the ceiling is all covered by gyprock - am happy with it Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9231Jul 08, 2015 8:54 pm K K Cat83 Hi KK I spoke with Clatendon today regarding the timber beams and they have advised that they paint rather than stain as the quality of the timber isn't that great and stain doesn't take that well. Am happy with the colours too - not too dark the pipes shown have since been painted in same colour as the roof which is Basalt - looks even better Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9240Jul 08, 2015 9:34 pm KLB How many appointments are there all up for selections? Just trying to figure out if we can fit it all in one day seeing we have to drive down to Sydney from Newcastle. There is an all day appointment for your colours, kitchen selections, bathroom selections, etc. That one is at Clarendon and is a 9am-5pm appointment. Then you have the electrical appointment at Clarendon which allow a couple of hours for and security (also covers data stuff too) which is also at Clarendon - I just booked the electrical and security appointments for the same day and hung around to save leaving. Then the only other one is Tiles, which is a couple of hours at Seven Hills. I was only there an hour and a half for tiles, but my hubby and I knew exactly what we wanted, and Clarendon are only tiling our wet area's, so not much to confirm at that appointment...
