Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9126Jul 04, 2015 9:07 am Lizzy all up 10k.. 4 internal robes (2 are double door) and customized 3 walk ins. My walk in is 3X3 or bigger. 2 of the walk in is made of polytec. Normal melamine would have been 7.5k or so. Also included 2 mirrors.. One floor to ceiling Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9128Jul 04, 2015 10:22 am Jayjay84 @ light487. They built my lounge of a picture only. Only thing I told them was the dimensions, what colour I wanted the cusions and what material I wanted it built in. It came pretty close to the picture. Great. Here's the bed we want.. it seems simple and you'd think it would be in stores everywhere.. but it's not. I just love the way it is close to the ground but looks like a proper bed with the subtle roll protection walls and the little seat or bookshelf on the end. Other low to the ground toddler beds are pretty boring, but this one is very modern looking. Cheers Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9137Jul 05, 2015 12:27 am light487 thanks heaps for sharing the sapphire inclusions so hard when u choose ages ago, I do think the wrong one was written up, but we signed for it and thats that. Sounds like things r travelling good for you and will speed up once the gyprock goes on my goodness it flys. Cat83 we changed the insullation during construction stage for no admin fee, but we had major issues early on so it may have been a "peace offering". bella18 we are building the waterside 38 and flooring after handover. It all depends on what u want as what it will cost. Our carpets are 9k for top quality really soft and 10mm underlay. Tiles I havent worked the figures on 100 percent but originally we would've had to pay clarendon a further 10k to change carpeted areas downstairs to tiling, so we decided we could get better tiles for a better price after handover. Such a huge difference in prices for the exact same tile. $55 per sqm at beaumont tiles and ended up getting them for $29 per sqm. It really does pay to shop around. buzurk what house r u building? I think handover first week of August will be pretty much on target if things go to the normal plan. Painters have finished at my place,taps/bath in. Next week door handles, garage door, mirrors, wardrobes etc and finishing touch ups. Walk through in 2 weeks, keys in 3-4weeks. Getting very exciting!!
