Just wondering if anyone has used EHI for their blinds and be willing to comment on the quality of their plantation shutters.
Thanks.
We did. Very happy with them. Look great.

We are using them too for plantation shutters. Did you get Hinged or Pivot? Thanks. Thanks. We used them on our Maddison 35. Very expensive but excellent quality. Couldn't be happier with them. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18488Jul 30, 2018 5:28 pm More questions on the plantation shutters... EHI charge the same for both basswood or PVC louvres. We are installing them in living/bedroom areas (not wet areas), is one better than another or is just personal preference? Apart from aesthetics, longevity is probably the main thing I am after. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18489Aug 04, 2018 11:01 pm Do you know if sarking in walls is mandatory in NSW? Do you know of anyone who didn't get it? My friend built with other builder and they dont have it, they havent started and their builder havent say anything to them yet. But, if you have it, there is minimum / standard to follow. With Clarendon, its included in package, so you have to follow NSW standard. Do you know of anyone who didn't get it? Sarking in walls is only done in QLD as standard as far as we've seen. Roof sarking is standard only in NSW Thank you and wentworth33. I did get sarking in walls as well as roof. Was just curious because wall sarking wasn't mentioned in any of the paperwork. Roof sarking is included in the "Plus Price". Killara 28 Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18493Aug 19, 2018 7:58 pm So we have finally moved in! Handover was 3 weeks ago - some notable defects still but wasn’t anything major ie. lower staircase hand rail wasn’t installed and silicone for shower screens missing etc. We managed to claim some liquidated damage due to the delay but wasn’t pleased with the amount as the rain days calculation provided was way above what we computed with the weather data we have. Anyone here managed to claim liquidated damages due to delay in handover and understand how does the rain days works? Does it cover period which after the roof is already constructed? Hi yes sourced from BOM ie. closest weather station. Building a Oceanside 36 @ Kellyville Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18496Sep 24, 2018 11:45 am Hi all Has anyone gone about a process of a final occupation certificate without engaging the private certifier? We are having a lot of issues with our certifier and now Clarendon stating we need to engage a surveyor at our own cost to provide a report on our hydraulics. Any stories of getting around this would be great. Cheers Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18497Sep 24, 2018 12:27 pm One Hi, Just wondering if anyone has used EHI for their blinds and be willing to comment on the quality of their plantation shutters. Thanks. Hi we used EMI for our plantation shutters and are really really happy with the product and we've been in for 12 months now. We love that they are inside the window edge? does that make sense? Not sitting on the window architraves. Really easy to clean, lovely product. Now the CDC are chasing us to get the final OC. But we have to do some stupid Works as Executed survey first, which no one told us about and it costs $1000. bumblebee1985 Gambit79 Hi all Has anyone gone about a process of a final occupation certificate without engaging the private certifier? There is nothing special about these and I imagine literally every stair installer will be able to do this. 1 6738 The two 15mm holes are obviously not compliant.
