Building a modified Sheridan 35
Now I'm worried. Yet another thing I need to check - flashing.
So far i have found several things that don't comply with BAL or Marine Grade specifications, even though I have been charged extra for the upgrades. I didn't get a private inspector, I check myself.
Such as..
Window/sliding doors not complying with bal specs - 5mm/6mm toughened glass.
External vents to be copper piping in lieu of pvc pipe.
Render mortar/cement not marine grade. They only used standard general purpose cement.
Colourbond roof screws not marine grade.
Left over R1.5 wall batts used in some parts of roof (roof batts shoukd be R3.5)
And...a few other little things...
So how are they fixing all of those items? Guessing they won't be doing the render again??
