Did anyone need to get an expansion gap with laminate flooring? If so do you have any pictures of what it looks like? We just avoided having one. I've seen them in a few of the display homes. If you can get the plastic strip to match the laminate it's not too bad. Thanks KLB. How do you avoid it? The house length from front to back (the direction the laminate was laid) was just on the maximum length you can go before needing expansion joints. It depends how many cupboards etc. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 17136May 08, 2017 9:19 pm Hi mojo1, Air-cond: Standard is 19kW, 2-zone non-inverter Temperzone. We paid $6k to upgrade to 20kW Fujitsu inverter with 8 zones including MyAir WiFi control system Kitchen: Not sure how much 2 tone itself costs but we paid $3k to upgrade to Createc for our Oceanside 36 kitchen with 2 tone colours (Char Oak bottom & Ultra white top) Advice for Colors, not sure if you visited the Lifestyle Studio yet? Stay within budget and don't be overwhelmed! We had 4 trips to the then Colour Studio with 2 months of planning and yet came back feeling so overwhelmed by the details. We loved to do lots of upgrades but was costing too much and you will be shocked to see how quickly the price goes up from a standard house. .. With the kitchen cabinets we get two tones included in our sapphire package with standard inclusions. . all the best with your colour selections. .. We are having the roof tiles started today but we have lots of mistakes made with our frame which needs to be fixed. .. Hey Mrs RS, what kind of frame mistakes did they do? Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 17140May 08, 2017 9:56 pm Our eaves are 600 instead of 450 and they mistakely made the frames for 450 eaves so the eaves covers the window....so the whole thing has to be done again for all the windows upstairs. ..resize the frames take the bricks out at the window seals and redo the bricks again. ..bit complicated but it will be done. .. the stair balustrades?
