I would suggest you go through an external company after handover. That's what we're doing.
My site supervisor is letting us get the conduits pre-install through the Clarendon contracted sparky as external contractors are not allowed to enter site. Don't get Zurcorp to do it. You'll pay a fortune.
Have a look at the 'Building with Clarendon Australia'. Facebook page. There's a discussion on there regarding pricing for various solar systems compared with Zurcorp. Plus lots of other very useful info.
Hi msnbuild, How did you go about asking your site supervisor to do this? And how much did it cost if you don't mind?
I met the site supervisor on site during the concrete pour and explained what I wanted to do and why and that Clarendon couldn't accommodate during the tender. He was OK with it. But I guess it might come down to your SS.
I organised directly through the sparky and it was $90 to provide and install the conduit. I asked my solar guy what he needed and gave the sparky a sketch.
Hope that helps.
