Yep thats right. Just request your "bank pack" for your lender.
It will need to be fixed and tied in properly. Whether or not they can do that without totally redoing it I'm not sure.

Cheers Lydds Building Boston 36 Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 15904Sep 05, 2016 10:11 am Hello peeps, need some advice. We are having our pre-lining inspection later this afternoon. Your advice would be much appreciated for those who have gone past this stage. Thank you. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 15905Sep 05, 2016 3:00 pm So just spoke to our SS, he agreed to do our walk through on Wednesday afternoon and that our flooring can go down on the 15th. Our water tank is going to need replacing now too. It blew over in the crazy wind on the weekend and is all dented where it landed. Wish something would just go right!!! Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 15906Sep 05, 2016 3:20 pm we have submitted plans for approval to local authority and they came back with a question about eaves overhang. This has came back after we signed the contract and have no clue about it. Sales guys is saying that we cannot avoid it and it will not be cheap as well. Has anyone gone through such query and can comment about the estimate cost ? Also, not sure why its not inclusion. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 15907Sep 05, 2016 3:45 pm Do you need to increase or decrease the eaves? Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 15908Sep 05, 2016 4:12 pm What they are saying is : "After review there is an issue with no eave overhang being built around the ground floor. Housing Design Guidelines state The maximum length of under eave extensions to a dwelling is 4m. There needs to be an eave overhang installed on the ground floor around the following rooms; alfresco, meals, laundry study and garage." Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 15909Sep 05, 2016 4:22 pm Ahhh ok so you need to add them. I can't give you any coatings sorry as our eaves are only on the top storey and alfresco. Which builder's design provides eaves around the lower floors for a two storey? I would suggest to go around the estate and find similar homes and use these pics to push your case. We have eaves around the back of our property on ground floor because of our alfresco but no eaves on garage - generally speaking, I think they ask that you have eaves on all liveable spaces - which is why garage isn't required to have it. Which design are you building? Don't quote me on this but I vaguely remember something along the lines of $80 per lineal metre so depending on your design, it might end up being a lot or not so much... viewtopic.php?t=83651 Building a modified Sheridan 35 Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 15913Sep 05, 2016 5:39 pm bumblebee1985 falcon86 we have submitted plans for approval to local authority and they came back with a question about eaves overhang. I'd be going back to the builder and telling them their design is faulty, they should be well aware of this requirement . Not something I would agree in paying for. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 15918Sep 05, 2016 6:24 pm Don't let them charge you for extra for the architect to redraw plans. It is something they should have known (we pay them to know council regulations ) so that is their fault. I fought that (not too hard) and won. Building a Modified Madison 37.
