For a double storey, how long did your painting take for anyone who opted for 3 coat system? We're quite happy with the internal painting - the house is slowly coming together.

I asked our private inspector, Jim's building, and told us that's just fine. but after a week, Slab poured April 6, then we checked the site April 14 a lot of tire tracks, probably a backhoe for external drainage. Cracks appears to be more, again i ask my SS why and told me that's how they do things in tight area's, but we are in greenfield area's for crying out loud. Told me to ask concrete supervisor Wayne K., never had a chance to talk to him yet. Spoken to the inspector told me that the cracks are within the specs, so hope everything would be rectified on your side. Our frames up till the 1st floor. Good luck on your build.[/quote] Hi Rogy, Sorry to hear about your issues. Where are you building? I'm in Sydney Liverpool Council. Jim's building said problems are ok. Would you use Jim's for other stages of your construction too? I just spoke to my SS who told me hairline cracks are fine and he will inspecting with someone else. On another note I was advise to check for recess concrete for wet areas? Has everyone's wet areas have been recessed too?
