I want tiles downstairs and wood upstairs but I've never seen that combination. Your tiles go really well with the stairs. We were at a ten month build, several issues along the way. But it does come together. I rather have quality over speed any day. We handed over two weeks ago with minor issues ( site supervised more then happy to get it fixed ASAP). Here's a few pics I've taken so far. I'll take more when I have a free minute to breathe Wow really gorgeous Jayjay84! You're so ahead of me we are still waiting on some of our furniture! We have done tender and done variations and are currently waiting for our contract/drawings. Am I able to make any changes? I really want floating vanities in my bathrooms but didn't realize they did it. I asked about changing something else and they said no more changes. surely I can still change things if I pay the admin fee right? My build thread - Fairmont 34 Clarendon viewtopic.php?t=82035 Hi Bowie, Have you signed off your kitchen selections? From our end, as we were waiting for our land to register which happened in July-15, we did our tender around March-15, after tender, we still did put though a lot of changes leading up to the contract signing... then managed still to make changes to our tiles selection before everything had to be consolidated for the bank pack. In my view, better to make changes before you go into construction. Once you're in construction the admin fee is $1k, prior to you can make changes - the fee is mostly to the supplier which is what we had to pay when we changed our tiles. Have you signed off all your variations? Until all of these are completed, SS can't get started with the cladding. The top floor scaffold were also stripped this week, see photo below, there was only a piece of wood holding the fence from smashing into the house.... hopefully nothing happens until Clarendon takes the fence down.
