Found out my building CSC has the initials JS.. this is in sydney, anyone have him/her and are they good??? Building a Modified Madison 37. Woohoo! Congrats Well today we managed to get our concrete piering AND a site fence! In our contract we were charged extra for site fencing because of our large block and being a battle axe. They have literally only needed to use about 12m of fencing because of all the other fencing that is up. Will be interesting to see how much credit we get! Make sure you question it / fight for that credit! They won't just offer it up. Of course in the contract it's all just lumped under additional site costs so you have no idea what the actual amount is! Although I will say I was happy today when I received our Final, yep FINAL invoice from them! Sorry, not trying to rub it in, just so bloody excited to finally almost be done and move out of my parents house... Anyways, back to what I was saying.. haha! We had $8,000 worth of provisional monies in our contract for rock excavation and additional sewerage lines and stuff, so I was expecting them to "use" most of it, but in our final invoice, they've only used $543, so we got $7,457 credited back to us! I was cheering! Where are you building? Hi Kandrch, we are building in Castle Hill. Where are you building. I did not realize that rendering was include in the facade cost (we are going with Prescot, same as the display home). Are you also getting the sandstone feature wall in the hall? How far in are you with your build? Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 13016Feb 04, 2016 9:12 pm KLB elisen Oh yeah, they're good like that! I will just live vicariously through you Oh I'm so happy to be almost done with the whole process! Although I honestly think it wouldn't have been bad if we weren't living with my folks.... I haven't lived at home since I was 19, then come home with husband and 3 kids... Plus my OLDER brother still lives with our parents, so it has been a tight squeeze.... And we've already done the shopping spree! haha!! We've been doing it throughout the build so it wasn't as big of an "ouch" at the end... We had one huge storage unit at kennards with all our stuff in it, then we went and got another smaller one for $100 a month and slowly bought dining table and chairs, coffee table, side tables, etc. and our new leather lounges will be delivered to the house in March some time... YAY to moving out of home for the second time! haha!
