Any advice/tips? Don't fuss too much with anything. Don't expect perfection. Urgent repairs will be done within 4 weeks the rest 60 days after that. Good luck!! Thanks Lizzy! We just have 2 things really shelves and alfresco beams to box in. Anything else is just minor and will be fine! Excited!!! We have a massive pile of soil on our front lawn now, waiting on the turf and landscaping to get going and of course it starts raining. Hoping the forecast is correct that it will blow over tonight and they can try and get our turf and paving done before Christmas. We are also looking to build a small pool for our kidlets but looking to get some decent quotes One of my hubby's old mates from baseball builds pools for a living. He gave us a great price (mates rates). I'm not sure what his company name is but can find out if you like. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 12613Dec 22, 2015 1:26 pm light487 Rain rain rain... Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 12614Dec 22, 2015 2:59 pm Just finished an amazing handover! We are so lucky to not have only had such an outstanding SS but to also have built with Clarendon. Our home is gorgeous and is everything we wanted and more. Just a few little things to do after handover but this does not affect our home or the wonderful experience of building with Clarendon! We are getting a pool! We will have a pool!!! So freakin excited... Can't wait for next summer already!! I'm the total opposite lol. Have had pools for the last 15 years and I cant wait to get into our home and have NO POOL haha. We have had a junction point with off peak power and a light switch fitted outside for a future pool but I doubt very much it will be done while we own it. Too much maintenance, too much electricity, too much work. I hate sand.. but I'll go to the beach lmao Cheers, Paul (& Lisa) Parkhill 36 by ClarendonHomes in Coomera Retreat H1 Build Thread And Blog Building Blogs List - Go Ahead And Add Yours!! We are the same and, after a few hiccups, are delighted we went with Clarendon. Here's the gripe.... The floors are filthy... Is that normal? We are at the architrave stage and I walked in to find the kitchen cabinets were being installed.... Woohoo, yeah baby and sucks to all other builders..... Sorry.. Got carried away there. The floors have never been swept since the brikkies were there six weeks ago so we have the following: Sand Plasterboard pieces Plasterboard dust.... A lot Drink cans Bottles Bits of wood Fags (no not you Tristran) Wood shavings A fork and knife Dust..... More dust.. And lots more dust. The carpenter has cut all the window wood to size but they are covered with wood dust and plaster dust etc. I asked the kitchen chappie today if this was normal and he said: "it's pretty bad". Is it pretty bad or is it something you have all put up with? Thanks Parkhill 32 with extra Alfresco Camp Hill, Brisbane the stair balustrades?
