Mine took 4 days. They tell you 7 days. So 7 max
Thanks Lizzy! They didn't give me any time frame at all and of course they don't answer the phone when you ring with a question

I was bored and wanted to see what other builders blogs have in them (I just want to look at the photos really). It will make you so glad Clarendon took a bit extra time to build. It has certainly made me think highly of Clarendon. I feel so sorry for some of those people who have spent so much money on their builds only to have the workmanship look like a first year apprentice built the whole house. We've been living in our house for a bit over 3 months now, so I've had heaps of time to spot anything that looks ordinary - But I'm having a tough time picking things out. If I had to rate the workmanship, I'd give it about a 8/10. Not to say this is the same with everyone, but honestly, some of the complaints I have seen from other people from other builders, it makes me glad I chose Clarendon in the end. $395 Fixed Priced Landscape Plans for DA M: 0435 127 244 | W: bluegumdesign.com.au | E: info@bluegumdesign.com.au Residential | Commercial | Industrial Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 12131Nov 18, 2015 9:49 am mp1 If anyone is having any doubts about Clarendon, go have a read and look at the photos in the Masterton blog. I say this every time someone complains! I read the Masterton thread ages ago and I am over the moon with choosing Clarendon! They have been amazing so far and i would definitely build with them again and certainly recommend them to anyone!! Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 12132Nov 18, 2015 11:36 am Yeh, the admin side of things for Clarendon can certainly see some improvements. And a bit of build time consistency within and across states would be awesome. So they definitely have room to improve.. but for the most part, the build has been really great. Lizzys single storey seemed to go up at break neck speed so just wondering what the doubles are doing They're supposed to be around 5-6 months across all states.. but of course that's not true for NSW due to labour shortage, particularly brickies. QLD builds seem to be taking around the normal 5 to 6 months.. NSW builds seem to be taking around 8 to 9 months. Our land was scraped March 19. We are looking at handover next week (yes, it was pushed back a week due to the bank) but it would have been ready for handover on November 19, just barely ready mind you, so that is 8 months. By just barely, I mean that there are still some obvious things that need doing, like finishing the ceiling above the front porch and fixing the paint, cleaning the bricks again and minor things. If they had another 2 weeks or so, it would be finished properly. So 8 to 9 months seems about right to me. Turns out that the ones recommended by the guy in Bunnings aren't what I am after either.. so I've found that HPM actually do have a 15w LED version of the first LEDs I got, which are approximately 950 lumens, with a much higher CRI rating (92+) and smaller cone of light (80 degrees at 2.4m). Turns out that it's a special order only at Bunnings and not many online places (none that I could find!) even stock it. They cost around $17 more than the 11w LEDs.. so almost $60 per light.. definitely worth it but glad I only need 3! We are still languishing in Council after 9 weeks and struggling more living with the parentals haha so I guess I'm just looking for some sort of count down to move lol Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 12138Nov 18, 2015 4:32 pm So I got my invoice for the balance of shutter installation. They did the shutters separately to the build. So I asked if it was urgent that I pay immediately or if they didn't mind waiting till 3 December when we will have vastly more cssh.. Their reply was a bit of a slap in the face to be honest. They complained that if I didn't pay before the week was up that it would affect their cash flow to such an extent that their employees wouldn't get paid and they couldn't do as many jobs because they wouldn't be able to order more materials. Are you kidding me? A delay of 2 weeks on an amount if $3000 is going to ruin people's lives? Obviously an over exaggeration, but the reply stung a bit. I'll be paying them tonight to get rid of them. Idiots. Totally lost me as a future customer. It would have been fine just to say something like, our policy is to pay invoices by 7 days or something. So unprofessional to be like that about the wages and materials I think. Thank god our package had free floor to ceiling tiles for the Ensuite. That's with builders range. Keep in mind tiles outside of the builders range are extra on top of that.
