We don't intend to fold it down ever, but the option is there. Good width line for Queen Size sheets. We had excellent service. We opted for installation. The guy turned up on time with courtesy call the day before. Prices are on their website. Most of our clothes get hung on a hanger and then put on this fold-up during winter. Sheets also just get pegged to it or hung over 2-3 of the lines. We have planned to have it again in the new house with a heating vent directly above it. They are brilliant.
