Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building the family home - SA 81Oct 08, 2011 6:17 pm Hooray for proper walls! makes so much of a difference, doesn't it! You'll be locked out before you know it and then onwards and upwards! We were just visiting our house this afternoon, working out what we are doing in terms of landscaping etc, and it is getting harder and harder to leave our "house" and come home..... Lookout lockup, just around the corner. In terms of FH - mmm they were supposed to come back and fix the mortar on the bricks and put a strip in the garage 2 days after handover - they didnt turn up nor did they call. havent heard from them either. I get cross when i call them and they are grouchy at me like i am asking the world So typical of most builders i think. I was annoyed about the tv aerial - i paid them a hefty amount so i didnt have to worry about it, it would just be done - then it wasnt - may as well have got someone to do it myslef.
