Love your facade, your kitchen, your front door... You have a gorgeous brand new home with old style charm Good luck for PCI and hope you get to move in before xmas Re: Building the family home - SA 103Nov 27, 2011 8:45 am Thank you everyone for your lovely comments Its a conservation area so we didn't really have much choice with the look of the house . Luckily we love the older house look but it cost a fair bit more to get something the council would approve In hindsight Not sure we would have bought the block if we had known this at the start . We are hopefully due to move in on the 15/16th Dec and get carpets fitted on the 24th Dec so its going to be a busy Christmas Re: Building the family home - SA 104Nov 28, 2011 8:49 am Agree with everyone else ... the house looks gorgeous - love the chocolate and the front door especially ... you're going to have a great Xmas For info on our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43093 Built the McLaren by Dechellis - slab down 22 Feb - handover 30 Aug 2011 - and gardens finished 9 Dec 2012!! Re: Building the family home - SA 109Dec 06, 2011 10:33 am All of the Bunning's in the whole of Adelaide seem to have run out of Redi shades just as we need them But managed to order them from the site in the US and getting them shipped to my Hopshopgo account then over here and it should still come in under $350 for the whole house and shipping Pretty pleased and got the room darkening ones for the bedrooms. We are looking at FH too (I say we but I've been doing the research!) and I just love your facade. I had no idea council's had opinions on facades - so much to learn. Shame it costs so much more as I was going to show FH a pic of yours and say do this for us! Congratulations on your awesome new house! Current: BUILDING - finishing soon!
