Hi All,
I would like you all to tell me roughly how long your scheduling process went for and how long after that it took for the slab to be laid? Also what exactly is involved in the scheduling?
thanks in advance

Basically the site supervisor will then adapt this to the expected availability of the tradies they plan to use. This should take about a week. Basically the start will then be dependant on the availability of the plumber who installs the underground pipework. The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get ! Re: Scheduling Process 5May 14, 2011 3:01 am Hi bashworth, From my experience, many Perth builders take up to 8 weeks to do the scheduling process, but it depends on your builder as some builders do things in different orders and parts of the scheduling process may have been completed earlier in the admin phase - so it's best to check directly with your builder. Scheduling is quite involved, especially if you have a one-off plan as it basically needs to be done from scratch, rather than a template. Every item needs to be counted - every brick, roof tile, nail, etc etc... Final quotes are sent off for, then the builder has to wait for suppliers to get back to them with those quotes. Sometimes there are site checks by management, as well as final checks of your documentation to ensure nothing has been missed or needs clarifying. Once quotes are received and quantities have been worked out, orders can then be sent off to the suppliers. The file is then usually broken down so that there is a file for the site supervisor as well as sometimes arranging plans for the tradies. The supervisor will then have to book in your siteworks trades, which can take up to a week or 2 until they will actually start on site, depending on their backlog. Hope that helps I apologise for any confusion, but your understanding is correct. We approached our situation differently based on advice from… 11 53211 Thanks very much!
