We will probably do all ours after handover too. What you have planned for your landscaping sounds great. The Orange jasmine has a really distinct fragrance, very summery! I hear you with the nudie runs! When we moved into town it took me. a while to get used to not walking to the clothes line in a towel or bra and undies to get clean clothes! It's nice to have screening from your neighbours. Your yard will be a lovely private retreat, but still plenty of light into all your nice big windows. This morning i was looking for all my Coral info,and thought i had packed them so un packed everything with alot of SWEARING couldnt find it,more SWEARING still couldnt find it by this time all the boxes i had packed had been ripped apart..with me now yelling at the top of my lungs for my husband too open a draw where i was sitting and getting out the CORAL bag...i got told i owed 700$ for the hand over and i knew it was only $300 so i had too find it which i have so will be able too show SS also it says we get fly screens,so will show him that also.. the talk is we will be in friday,husband and i cant find anything wrong with the place but a wall with one hole thats it,,a little hole near my range hood and that is it... the clean has been done and let me tell u its cleaner than what im use too living in so very happy... we mowed the lawns today and whipper snipped,so ready for us too move in... bring it on i say... Re: Building a new home takes a very long time too get start 443Nov 20, 2011 12:17 pm Well done on finding your file, you could use that money better than they can I love your colour selection and the sound of the black gates and orange Jasmine sounds great Re: Building a new home takes a very long time too get start 444Nov 20, 2011 4:35 pm I cant belive how much work it is too move house and i dont keep any junk...We have only tidied up out side and im sure inside will b so much easier as outsides all my husband s stuff,he had a pigeon loft and we have pulled that down since friday...its been hard work,im so glad thats finished...its taken alot out of me this weekend as im not use too working,we not anywhere near as hard as i have this weekend,..... we are getting a pickup tuesday i just hope they take it all that will b the next thing.. looking like we will b getting the keys friday this week as they are having trouble getting our gas conected they have too drill under the road... ive cleaned my over and grill here and told everybody they arnt aloud too use it,so wt# happens they all want too cook tonight,do u belive it well i do... i am buying take out everyday this week....tonights toasted sandwiches... way over all this and looking forward too getting back too having one home.. Looking forward to an update and some pics of it all finished and cleaned Re: Building a new home takes a very long time too get start 453Nov 30, 2011 6:23 pm well we got the keys last thursday and only just got the computer on today,well what a work out we have had ... moving day it rained,oh didnt just rain it pelted down... but we are in...thank goodnesss... and we havent found anything wrong everythings lovely.. our ss told me he would look after me and look after me he has done,he was the BEST.... so we have moved 10 tone of big rocks and ordering another 10 tone this week as we need too build up the back so we can concrete,which i would have liked done yesterday,but we will get there....we have 3/4 the fence up which will b finished this weekend...looks so good,6 footer... all the curtains are up and happy with them for $1000....well 5 big windows,will order the verticals for the back rooms now ive got my computer too look up numbers... ordering a shed tomorrow as our garage is a mess..... the kids are driving me crazy now i have too work on them moving out..... very very tired..... Re: Building a new home takes a very long time too get start 457Nov 30, 2011 8:23 pm just met the peoplke that have brought the block of dirt next too us a nice young famile so will be good having somebody getting started and building... lets get this started,they wont own the land till january and are selling there home first so looks like it will be next xmas they end up moving in if there house sells... good luck too them let them have it... love my new home but will never ever do it again... Re: Building a new home takes a very long time too get start 459Dec 01, 2011 6:59 am Hand over for our other house took place yesterday with a bit of a worry at the end.I got the phone call at around 2pm saying we didnt leave all the stuff for the house. I said"WHAT",what did she think we took??? She said we took the pool vac,in which we NEVER had had one the only pool cleaner we ever had was my husband.....and she also wanted a wooden table we had in the back yard which wasnt on the contracts so i said,"that never was in the contract"... Well with this all happening at 2pm and handover 2-30 i was thinking what happens now,well by 4pm it was SOLD and all over and done with... So off too the bank too see what mess they had done there and on getting a balance we were outta pocket over $30,000...At this point in time im feeling very very sick thinking another stuff up,so down too the solisitors we go...sitting waiting too talk too somebody i said too Bob i wonder if its the deposite at the real estate,well thats what it turned out too b,nobody told us we get money from the real estate.... all sorted now we can start living again... a year of ups and mostly downs but we have moved in together and i can tell u i never thought that was going too happen the ways it was getting...
