Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Knock Down and Custom Build - SA - More Photos! 101Apr 29, 2012 4:37 pm Hi Crow, I have just picked myself up off the floor after reading your posts. Also, the house looks amazing! My wife and I are in the planning stage of a knock down and custom build, we just signed off on the concepts and the plans are so similar to yours it is unbelievable. The crazy part was, my wife and I drew our plan on paper gave it to our designer and he came back with the concept. We had never seen a design like ours before, well till now. Out of interest do you mind sending me a PM of who your designer was? Re: Knock Down and Custom Build - SA - More Photos! 102May 13, 2012 2:32 am Crow, Awsome looking house, it is very similar to what I am trying to do as well. I guess there are only so many ways to have a HT, Guest Room, Kitchen, Dining etc on the lower level and bedrooms upstairs. Very very nice and I hope that mine will kick off at some stage (been planning and going back and forth for 12mths - living overseas and do it by email is a nightmare) more pics pls.... hehe I have even picked the same fridge. Ciao Mark Re: Knock Down and Custom Build - SA - More Photos! 103May 13, 2012 9:46 pm Once I get a bit more time to put a few more things away and tidy up a bit more I will post some more photos. Just wondering what is the space you have for your indoor kitchen because I am looking to have similar fridge and not sure if 90cm is enough. Cheers Bill Re: Knock Down and Custom Build - SA - Professional Photos! 113Jul 26, 2012 1:47 pm For that particular fridge (Samsung SRF801GDLS) 90cm won't be enough. They are 908mm wide and you need a bit of space on each side. We went for 1000mm. Also watch out for the depth. They are about 860mm without handle and 920mm with the handle. We went for 950mm Slab Down: 2/6/11 Moved in 13/3/2012 Current Status : Waiting for the garden to grow. It would achieve a pretty low rent as it's… 0 13759 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 34273 |
