We had our block cut on Friday - we can have a race! ;D Re: Henley Starting build soon 24May 10, 2011 9:52 pm Mazisto Exciting stuff! We had our block cut on Friday - we can have a race! ;D Good stuff "Maz" , what Plantation Home are you building?, i like the Horizon mate its a beauty..that would have fitted our block to a T.. We have the concrete guys in at the moment, they found some soft spots on the block while excavating the foundation beams.. not good, going to be pricey for the extra concrete, hopefully not too much.. Henleys talking about having the slab down by Friday and the framers in the following Monday..!!! , hopefully the weather holds up.. Cheers G Pretty common practice now days to have a frame up so soon afterwards. Ours went up about two weeks afterwards, but that was more so because we had to wait on the framers becoming free Land Deposit - 18/12/2009 Became a land Baron - 21/12/2010 Site Start - 27/1/2011 All moved in!! Re: Henley Starting build soon 26May 19, 2011 10:39 pm Well everyone.. better late than never as its looking good to get the slab down tomorrow 20/05. Passed by today and the concreters were still busy at 5:30 and leaving about 6:00pm , very encouraging to see the extra effort and making the best of the fine wether we have had this week.. Snap should hopefully be posted soon of the new footprint.. hehe Cheers G Ger Re: Henley Starting build soon 27May 23, 2011 5:51 pm Hello Everyone.. had a really exiting week with lots happenning.. We had our internal doors delivered today, so the inside work is well under way. The brickies are due to come in this week, they are a shocking 4 weeks behind so we should be well and truly " locked up " , never mind the brickies are good quality and were Ok with waiting, this isn't holding things up at all. Plaster in, Waterproofing done, Kitchen fit booked in and carpenter fix coming in soon as well. Got a bit of a blog happenning for the sticky beaks out there, feel free to comment. Cheers G Ger Re: Henley Starting build soon 33Jul 20, 2011 9:08 pm Hi guys, Me and my partner are also going to be building with henley.
