I came across your thread and saw the photos of the pendant lights over the kitchen island bench. They are similar to the ones I have chosen - or perhaps they are the same....? Did you get them from Beacon lighting or maybe you got them from a designer lighting store!? You have very good taste and an eye for style. Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3382Jul 28, 2012 10:13 pm Hi Gogo just saw the pics, the kitchen is beautiful!! love the colour scheme and I love the stone basins too, may I ask where you found them or did Zen supply for you? Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3383Jul 28, 2012 10:16 pm One more question, who did you design your kitchen with? Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3384Jul 28, 2012 10:55 pm Wow, gogo, just 1 day & I missed like 3-4 pages.... Kitchen looks stunning!! Congrats for the great result, gogo.... Re: Gogo's build- kitchen feature wall done. 3385Jul 29, 2012 10:47 am Thanks alt, I hadn't really thought about the oval basins and square taps, just picked square everything, but happy with the result Ryan 1977 Everything is stunning, your kitchen is just WOW!, I am almost too jealous to write anything, I feel the same about all T's photos too. Can't wait until we are at that end of our build. Thanks ryan, Won't be long Till its you, kiwi That first photo was uploaded from trends kitchens. It sooooo isn't an h1ers. Toooooo nice!!!!!!!! Wow!! Spectacular!! Thanks RS, nearly as good as yours PS4314 Gogo your kitchen looks and so classy. Can I also say that you have exquisite taste as shown by the flushmount sink and egg basins You're so nearly there now, can't be much more to do. Thanks Ruth, and yes exquisite taste on the sink and egg basins, limesoda OMG!! Gogo - your house is simply stunning! Totally gorgeous and I think I'm in love! You have excellent taste and it is going to be amazing when finished. Love, love, LOVE!! All the very best with your Dad - it must make for a very stressful time. Hospitals are very draining, my daughter spends way too much time at the children's hospital, so I'm thinking of you. So very kind limesoda Has been very draining particularly the last two weeks, your DD does she go to Westmead kids? I work there greenfish :: Not much I can add to what everyone has already said. Love love love your kitchen, but everything looks great. Can't wait to see it finished and furnished. Well done. Cuddles too, not easy having a sick parent, hope your dad is doing better today x Thank you greenfish, I can sort of see now how it is going to look now Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3386Jul 29, 2012 11:01 am Yes - she does go to westmead - what a small world! She has a liver disease and will need a transplant eventually. Spends most of her time up in Clancy ward Building at The Ponds (NSW) in 2012! Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3387Jul 29, 2012 11:03 am doczim Looking great. Love the kitchen. What sink is that, an Abbey? I take it is a flush mount right? Correct doczim it is an abbey stratus, not actually a true flushmount, it is still inset, but looks like it is flushmount, we were originally going to flushmount it but a few people told us that unless the stonemason does it perfectly you can see the cut edge, we saw a couple of bad examples in some display homes and appliance stores, so decided on the inset with the fine edge,(of course not cheap with a retail price of $1750 ) but it matches our cooktop too.... LynneY Hi Gogo - your kitchen and vanities are absolutely gorgeous. I came across your thread and saw the photos of the pendant lights over the kitchen island bench. They are similar to the ones I have chosen - or perhaps they are the same....? Did you get them from Beacon lighting or maybe you got them from a designer lighting store!? You have very good taste and an eye for style. Thanks LynneY, we didn't buy the lights from beacon, but I think they stock them! It is the pinto light, we originally choose something different but at the last minute changed our minds, as I wanted something with more white as contrast against the dark cupboards, very expensive at $69 each purple2fish Hi Gogo just saw the pics, the kitchen is beautiful!! love the colour scheme and I love the stone basins too, may I ask where you found them or did Zen supply for you? purple2fish One more question, who did you design your kitchen with? Hi purple fish, thanks! We bought the basins and bath from cocomo living at Alexandria, although taste homeware shops also sell similar. In regards to kitchens I had drawn up something that I wanted, went to the zen kitchen guy hoping for some more inspiration and walked away with none but I then went to kitchen connection and had an appointment with a designer there, however he virtually came up with the exact same thing, so I just went with my original design, then the wonderful jodge drew it up properly for me and sorted our cupboard and drawer sizes etc (thanks jodge ) willcres Wow, gogo, just 1 day & I missed like 3-4 pages.... Kitchen looks stunning!! Congrats for the great result, gogo.... Thanks willcres, I know what you mean, I can't keep up sometimes Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3388Jul 29, 2012 11:06 am limesoda Yes - she does go to westmead - what a small world! She has a liver disease and will need a transplant eventually. Spends most of her time up in Clancy ward Oh limesoda, that is terrible I know how hard it is for those poor kids, I have worked at the kids hospital for way to long, I don't work as a nurse now but I work in the unit (SIU) on the left as you walk into Clancy let me know when you are next in and I would love to drop in and say hello Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3390Jul 29, 2012 11:23 am hey gogo. Was seriously tossing up coming out to peek at your place today, but busy with all this blinds stuff! Do you have any photos of your door handles and your front door handle? Would love to see them!! BTW - your DD is very lucky to have such a nice WIR and the shelving for shoes... geez.... I am jealous. Might have to do the same. I am very jealous of your kitchen - how wide are those pot drawers under the island bench- they'd be at least 1m! We are getting 900mm pot drawers to our kitchen and an island bench with an undermount sink but not as fancy as your flush mount sink! I didn't even know flushmount sinks existed!! LOL . Just love pot drawers. Based on your beautiful designer Home Beautiful style kitchen are you getting Miele ovens? Steam ovens...too.... I presume. I will stop drooling now... LOL Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3392Jul 29, 2012 1:40 pm limesoda Amazing! Will definitely let you know! It can be a sad place at times, but very inspirational too. Yeah I do love working there and love the kids, will definitely drop in and say hello next time your in SunshineT hey gogo. Yes I'm getting miele ovens, two normal ovens, a steam oven, a convection microwave and dishwasher Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3394Jul 29, 2012 2:16 pm Thanks gogo. Look forward to more photos. When are you getting your blinds up? I will definitely come out for a look see of your handles ( that makes me laugh each time) and blinds soon.... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Sink with tap a bit disappointed as this is not the tap I wanted, Matt just ordered it as it was on my list, I would have paid the upgrade cost to get the tap I wanted, didn't even have a conversation. Thank you for the photos of the handles and bin. I must confess, I couldn't actually work out the bin arrangement even with my head on the side. Your handles look great, and even the external matches the internal and theatre room. I remember you saying it was $100 each upgrade to get the internal door handles to match the external and you didn't do that, but actually the choice you made (Amelia I think you said), looks like it matches perfectly! Well done DD's white bathroom is a treat - confirms to me why I love white white white (she says now with crazy grey tiles in her ensuite! ). Very pretty. It is all coming along so well now. ps: Is your door handle 600mm with the deadlock underneath? If we don't revert to the standard tri-lock, then we will probably go the 600mm so I was interested to see that the lock underneath doesn't look too low... Thanks again! Yes the door handle is 600mm long, didn't haves discussion about placement but it seems ok. Sorry about the bin, I'm taking the photo from on top, looking down, so the bin will push in and then there will be a door that closes Re: Gogo's build-one week to go... 3398Jul 29, 2012 6:25 pm Thanks! We liked the Liana internal handles but the Amelia does match the Horizon external perfectly! Having a ratherw blonde day (even for a brunette) on the bin drawer. Another reason to come visit!
